Quality of packaging
ISTA compliant packaging

"The objective of the INTERNATIONAL SAFE TRANSIT ASSOCIATION (ISTA) is to reduce in-transit damage through a standardized programme of pre-shipment testing".

The main test is a drop test: weight (packed product), height and velocity are the critical components.
The packed-product is drop tested on all sides, top, bottom, 4 corners, and flat on all faces.
After testing the product must be free from damage, and the box must give enough protection to the cartridge.
